moon flowers 2009-2012

moonflowers is a series of paintings that was produced between 2009 - 2012 based on (red) ochre earth pigments collected in different places of this planet (i.e. A, UK, Gr, F, Mex, Cz, Ind, SA). Additionally, charcoal, lime pigment, oil and moon blood are used in order to follow the old tradition of cave art. each painting took one mens/month/moon time to make.
